Merry Christmas

I can't believe that it is almost Christmas! I am done with my shopping and can not wait to see the kids faces when they open their presents. The only down side to this Christmas is that my sister and brother will not be here on Christmas. I will see them soon though. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and has a great time with family and friends. With all the hussle and bussle of the season please remeber what it is all about. Merry Christmas everyone!

Hope Everyone has an Amazing Christmas

Lots of Changes

Thursday, March 3, 2011

Well it's been a while since I written anything, but there is lots of changes happening in my house. I have been thinking about going back to work for a while now so I have been looking....Well I got a JOB! It seems like the perfect job. It's five minutes from my house, so I will be able to come eat lunch with the boys and still take the kids to dance, soccer, and baseball. It is the pay I was looking for and great benefits. It's just a big change for me as I have grown accustomed to being here with the kids. It's also going to be a big change for Grayson. He is such a momma's boy and I haven't worked since he was 2 months old (he's almost 2). But we have a great "manny" coming to our house.....the kids papaw! I think this is going to be a good change and hopefully we all take to the changes well. I just pray that it's the right decision for my family!

Happy New Year

I know it's a little late but Happy New Year! This year I want to blog more than I have in the past, exercise more, and have lots of family time. I hope that everyone has a fantastic 2011!

Nashville Flood

Wednesday, May 5, 2010

This past weekend and week has been crazy for the people of Middle Tennessee. I can't believe any of this as I watch the news it's very surreal. It's weird to see people's houses underwater and to think that part of downtown Nashville is the same way. I am ashamed at the lack of concern by the national media about this. But on the other hand I am amazed how the people here have come together to put everything back together.

I wish there was more I could do, but with the kids it's hard. The kids and I did take some stuff to Graceworks in Franklin and also the Metro Animal Shelter. I am trying to find more places that we can help. I really want them to realize what is going on and how it has affected everyone here. So if you are reading this and you can help I encourage you to help in whatever way you can. Also please say a prayer for our state. There are so many people that are in need right now.
